Jordan U17 Women’s National Team head coach Robbie Johnson has announced the names of the 21-player squad that will be taking part at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup which Jordan hosts from 30 September - 21 October.

The list was confirmed to FIFA today after cutting down the previous 28-player squad to 21 according to FIFA regulations.

Johnson expressed his gratitude to all the players that contributed to the team throughout the time he spent with the team and thanked them for the efforts they have shown:

“The final list has been selected and presented to FIFA today, the 21-player squad was selected from a pool of 28, and they all have contributed to the development of the Jordanian u17 team.

However, this group was selected to go forward and represent Jordan in the upcoming U17 Women’s World Cup.”

“We thank those players who have not been selected and they will remain on standby and continue to train with the squad in case of any injuries which will prevent the 21 from playing before our opening game against Spain.”

Johnson concluded: “The decision wasn’t straight forward, but we have selected the 21 players who would represent Jordan the best in the upcoming U17 Women’s World Cup.”
