The Nashama book Asian Cup qualification ticket for the fourth time in its history
Jordan has officially qualified to the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 for the fourth time in its history, securing the top spot at the qualifiers following an away 1-0 win against Cambodia on Tuesday.
Munzer Abu Amara’s winner in the 17th minute was enough to seal the win for Jordan, in the encounter that was held on Tuesday, November 14, at the National Sports Complex, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The team completes Jordanian National Teams’ full mark in 2017 for for successfully qualifying to the Asian Cup Finals. With the Women’s National team, Men’s U23s, Men’s U19’s, Boys U16s, and Futsal National Team all securing a place at the upcoming finals.
Jordan now tops the qualifiers group standing with 11 points, with Vietnam in second with 9, and Cambodia with 3 points, in goal difference above Afghanistan. The team will host Vietnam on March 27 next year in the closing match of the qualifiers.
The National Team has previously qualified to the Asian Finals in 2004, 2011, and 2015.
